English Language Intensive Programme Supports Learners on Their FET Journey

Learners at City of Dublin FET College Barry Road, Finglas recently completed a three-week English Language Intensive Preparation for FET College Programme, designed to prepare students for progression to full-time QQI Levels 5 and 6courses across City of Dublin FET Colleges.

Alongside developing their English language skills at B1 (Intermediate) and B2 (Upper Intermediate) levels, learners enjoyed a range of activities that brought learning beyond the classroom. 

Highlights included a Bloomsday visit to Sweny's Pharmacy, the National Gallery of Ireland and the National Museum of Ireland, a Taste of Culture event where learners shared food from around the world, and a joint session with the Gaeilge le Chéile summer school to learn some everyday Irish phrases.Congratulations to all of our learners.
