Time: Wednesday 9.30am – 1.30pm

Duration: February 2026 – May 2026

This animal welfare course focuses on understanding and improving the well-being of animals, both in natural and domesticated settings.

You will learn about:  

• The Natural Lifestyle of Animals 
• Feeding and Watering 
• Routine Care 
• Animal Health 
• Irish Legislation in relation to animal welfare 

 This course is for you:

• If you have not been in further and higher education before
• If you would like to progress to further or higher educationIf you have completed the Junior Certificate or another single QQI level 4 or QQI level 5 module
